I've been in a very critique-y mood tonight, and it never ceases to astonish me how much brilliant talent there is in this world! It really helps me to believe that our world is a wonderful place, no matter how depressing it can be at times. Well, depressing probably isn't the proper word. Apathetic. As apathetic as the collective population can be at times, art can show us such a broad spectrum of life and emotions, things we don't see in our everyday lives.

Art is amazing. I've said it before, and I'll say it forever.

Thanks everyone for being killer at creativity! Even if some of you don't get thousands of pageviews (I sure don't), someone out there appreciates your hard work. I honestly believe that a lot of the deviations that go largely unnoticed here are often times better works of art than the deviant with a million pageviews. Sure, they might be professionals, and much of their work is excellent, but I feel that lesser-known artists have to strive harder to make an exceptional work, and that is what makes their art better.

I don't mean to discredit the popular artists here by any means. They have worked hard to get where they're at, and I respect that. Just.. take the time to give the smaller guys and gals a chance too.
